A musical group by the name of “Sing Me A Fiction” used BOOTLEGGER in a music video for their new release, “A Part of the Crew”. It was a fun project and I had a small cameo.

Single handed chinese gybe. Quite a windy day out training in Port La Foret. This is what happens when it all goes wrong.
Singlehanded Gybe, Round Up, Spinnaker wrap and unwrap- In the past, while pulling wrapped spinnaker down, the spinnaker got trapped under the bow of the boat. I had to pull it under the bow by releasing one of the sheets. Although the spinnaker did not tear, it seemed that it could very likely be damaged, and this took too much time and energy on the bow. This video shows an alternate way to resolve the wrap by gybing to the opposite tack from which the wrap occurred. The wrapping force then serves as an unwrapping force, and the spinnaker can be unwrapped and doused.
